Maka Makeovers – Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Work

All work will be completed as outlined in the provided quote. Any variations or additional work requested by the client not included in the original quote will be charged separately and must be agreed upon in writing before commencement.

2. Payment Terms

A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. Work will not commence until the deposit has clear

ed. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the final invoice date. Invoices unpaid after the due date will incur a late payment fee of 5% per week. Debts may be referred to a collection agency, with all associated costs charged to the client.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled start date will incur a 25% cancellation fee.

If the client cancels the job after work has begun, Maka Makeovers reserves the right to:

- Invoice for all work completed.

- Charge an early termination fee of up to 50% of the remaining quote.

- Recover costs of materials ordered for the job.

Rescheduling requires at least 5 business days' notice.

4. Warranty

Maka Makeovers offers a 10-year workmanship warranty. This does not cover:

- Moisture issues, poor maintenance, structural problems, or wear and tear.

- Manufacturer warranties apply separately to all materials.

5. Site Access & Safety

Clients must ensure clear and safe access during work hours. Clients are responsible for removing valuables from work areas. Unsafe conditions (e.g., asbestos) may delay work.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must confirm all colours and finishes in writing and disclose any property issues. Client-caused delays may result in added costs.

7. Job Completion

A final walkthrough will be conducted. Any issues must be raised within 7 days of completion.

8. Photography & Promotion

We may take photos of the completed work for marketing. Clients must opt out in writing if they do not wish to have their property featured.

9. Insurance & Liability

Maka Makeovers holds Public Liability Insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing issues or damage

caused by external factors.
